The Barbados Tourism and ArtWorx Design group invited me to do a three
day workshop.  It was a wonderful experience, enhanced by students with a
thirst for knowledge and a willingness to learn.

I invite your art association or group to contact me about doing
either a workshop (as described below) or developing a particular
presentation that meets your specific needs.  My workshops are
a mixture of PowerPoint slides, lectures, demonstrations,
hands-on tasks, and always accompanied by pertinent handouts.
 

“Best Practices for Watercolor Success.”
An intensive three-day workshop that illustrates how to think more like an artist who
happens to work with watercolor.  It’s a no nonsense approach to making better
artistic decisions before you paint and during the painting process.  Watercolor
success lies in developing good design and work habits (while shaking off the bad)
and being aware of artistic formulas the can improve your artwork.

“Sketching With A Purpose.”
Drawing is the foundation of art, regardless of the artistic medium you use.  This
workshop is designed for basic and intermediate students who want a better
understanding of why drawing is a necessary skill for artistic development.  
This workshop (4 hours) will focus on how to observe and sketch successfully;
so you can effectively pre-plan an artistic idea before you paint.
